The KATANGA Foundation is governed by the Board of directors, which is composed of no fewer than 12 members. The Board is responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s program and strategy; budgets, expenditures and appropriation policies and guidelines; and investment strategies, allocations and performance. The Board performs its duties through committees that include, but are not limited to: the Management Committee, Investment Committee, Budget and Compensation Committee and Committee of Surveillance.
Our Mission is to Promote gender equality and fight against socio-economic inequalities in DR Congo through education, industrialization and entrepreneurship in the fields of energy, health, agriculture and small mines with a strong emphasis on empowerment of women and training of youth.
OUR Goal is to Become a collaborative platform allowing health conditions improvement, agro-industrial projects, semi-mechanization and traceability of small miner production and solar electrification projects to significantly contribute to the socio-economic development of DR Congo by being aligned with the objectives of UN SDGs.
